Current Development Phase for Mesozoic Manor: Alpha
What This Means:
- Everything is subject to change. Pets will not be altered without strong reason, but layout, artwork, item costs, items themselves, etc. should all be considered temporary.
- You will very likely encounter bugs. Please please report these! I don't know something is broken if nobody says anything! I can't fix something if I don't know it's broken. You can contact me through the Discord or PM here or on Mesozoic Manor itself, but Discord in the fastest.
- Suggestions can be implemented! If there's something you'd like to see, something you feel should be changed, you can make a suggestion here in the forums. I can't promise to implement them all, but I can promise I will read them all and consider them! At this stage everything is in flux which means I am open to suggestions on everything!
- Right now, some of the pet art has been made by me. I am not an artist. You will definitely notice the differences. Eventually I want to hire someone to revamp much of the dino art and some of the items, mainly the ones I did myself. Those in particular will definitely change. The rest may depending on if this hypothetical new artist wants to match the old style or has a vision for the entire set that fits more with what I envisioned.
Before we move into the Beta stage I want to get all the major features that I have planned up and in place. I also want to make sure the majority of the bugs are squashed. We are getting close to the first goal, as I mostly need to incorporate the rest of the notifications and streamline a few things. Then I plan to revisit the mobile version of the site and make sure that is working as intended regarding the layout. Among all this I need to also take a look at some sign up bugs that were reported. More may come up before we can actually move on, but we are well on our way!
In Closing:
Quite often if I am here or on the main site, I am working on something in development. I may not always remember to check PMs. If you need a fast response, contact me through Discord. Otherwise I will eventually reply but it may take some time. I apologize for that, but I am the only person working on the site so my attention is spread out by necessity. Because of this development can move slowly at times too, but it is still moving nevertheless. I am so glad to have people playing and enjoying my game and I hope you all will stick around for the next stages!
